Please note: The distinguishing characteristic of a trumpet daffodil is one flower on one stem; its trumpet is as long or longer than the outer petals. Blooms with shorter trumpets should be exhibited in the narcissus classes.
“Mixed” means more than one variety.
1. Specimen bloom of trumpet daffodil, any colour.
2. Specimen bloom or stem of narcissus, any colour.
3. Vase of trumpet daffodils mixed varieties, three blooms.
4. Vase of narcissi, mixed varieties, three blooms.
5. Vase of narcissi with more than one bloom on each stem, three stems, one variety.
6. Vase of miniature daffodils or narcissi, three stems, one variety.
7. A vase comprising a minimum of 10 stems of mixed daffodils and narcissi, any colour, maximum of 3 stems of any one variety
8. One specimen bloom of tulip.
9. Vase of tulips, three blooms, mixed or single variety.
10. Vase of muscari (grape hyacinth), six stems.
11. Vase of polyanthus, five stems.
12. Vase of primroses, five stems.
13. Vase of any other flower, one kind, colour variation allowed, five stems.
14. Vase of mixed spring flowers with their own foliage, excluding shrubs, five stems.
15. Vase of flowering trees or shrubs, mixed, five stems.
16. Foliage pot plant, in the exhibitor’s possession for at least three months, maximum pot size 10ins/225mm.
17. Pot or bowl of any flowering plant(s), including bulbs, corms or tubers, maximum pot size 10ins/225mm.
18. A free-standing patio container of any size with a mixture of any flowering plants, including bulbs, corms or tubers.
19. A Spring floral arrangement, in your own bowl or container not exceeding 500mm wide.
20. A Spring posy to fit in a glass of your own.
